We’re living interesting times, to say the least.

Love it or hate it, AI technology is here to stay.

And with all its dangers and drawbacks, there is one thing that consistently keeps me awake at night: the Democratization of Creation.

I say creation here, because I don’t want to start a fruitless debate on what is, and what is not. “art”.

I have many artist friends, and I truly admire all forms of art, and the profoundly human creative process that makes real art possible.

I myself have been a creative writer my entire life.

But art, or at least, the appreciation of art, is a highly subjective, personal subject.

What it’s quite objective, on the other hand, is that GenAI is giving everyone the opportunity of create whatever they can imagine.

The barriers of budget and hard-to-acquire skills or education are falling down before our eyes.

The real question is:

Now that we can do anything that our hearts desire…

Now that we’re starting to live in a world where “the only limit is your imagination” is not just a doubly-truthful euphemism, but is turning into reality scarily fast…
